Wonderful Websites: Wattpad

In this post, I am talking about another Wonderful Website, called Wattpad. This website is very similar to Storybird, but on Wattpad you can create custom book covers on Canva, Picmonkey or Photoshop, and then you can upload these covers onto your book. Books with custom covers get more reads that ones without a cover, or a cover that has nothing to do with the story, like a picture of a mountain when it's about volcanoes.
Wattpad's web address is here

To sign up for Wattpad, you can sign up with email, Google or Facebook. I signed up with Google, as I already have a Google account.

With Wattpad you can write stories with chapters in, and they can be as long as you like.

Get permission from an adult to sign up first, because it is a form of social media. You can put an age warning though, in the title. Generally people are nice on these sort of things, but if someone is rude or mean, then report them, and if they are reported frequently they will be suspended from Wattpad.

I love writing websites because they are a great way of sharing your writing talents with the world. And, with Wattpad, it does not publish your story straight away, so you can draft it if you don't want to publish straight away.

So that was my post for today. Sorry it was short; hopefully I'll do a longer one tomorrow to make up for it.
